FAQs

What is an estate sale?

An estate sale is the professional liquidation of personal property due to relocation, downsizing, divorce, financial transition, or after the passing of a loved one. Sales often include furniture, antiques, collectibles, jewelry, tools, equipment, vehicles, and household goods.

Do you only sell personal property?

No. In addition to liquidating personal property, we can also assist with the sale the home, land, commercial property or any other asset needed through trusted real estate professionals. If you are preparing to list your property, we can coordinate the estate sale process to help maximize the home’s presentation and marketability.

How do I schedule an estate sale?

Call us at (385) 895-2005 or email us at SaltLakeCityEstateSales@gmail.com to schedule your free consultation. We will assess your estate, discuss your goals, and outline a clear plan. There are no upfront fees.

What are the costs involved?

What types of items do you sell?

We sell nearly all estate assets including furniture, antiques, collectibles, jewelry, tools, equipment, vehicles, boats, trailers, land, residential and commercial property assets, and more.

How do you determine pricing?

Items are evaluated based on current market demand, comparable sales data, condition, rarity, and buyer interest trends. High-value or specialty items may be reviewed by trusted professionals if necessary to ensure accurate pricing.

Do I need to prepare the home?

We recommend removing personal items you do not wish to sell. If certain items must meet a minimum amount, you may tag them accordingly; however, sale is not guaranteed. Our team handles staging, pricing, display, and overall sale strategy to maximize sell-through and profitability.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit cards, Venmo, PayPal, and cash.

Do I need to be present during the sale?

No. Our experienced team manages the entire process so you can focus on other important matters.

How long does an estate sale last?

The typical timeline includes 1–2 weeks of preparation followed by a 2–3 day sale. Unsold items can be removed, donated, or handled through alternative selling solutions if requested.
